Southern Anchorages

If weather conditions are favourable, the anchorages along the southern edge of Whitsunday Island may be included in your OzSail cruise. These beautiful anchorages provide excellent protection from the northerly winds.

Some have interesting coral formations, but the best features are the white beaches that adorn their edges.

Watch out for the turtles which frequent these harbours, or the mackeral feeding on bait fish at various times of the day.
